I build fast, resilient web applications - and one persistent galaxy.
I care about clean architecture, buttery interactions, and shipping
things that hold up under real traffic.
Full-stack web developer with four years of experience building products people actually use - and one persistent galaxy that never sleeps.
I'm André, a full-stack web developer with four years of experience shipping web applications across the stack. I've worked on SaaS platforms, dashboards, content systems, and a real-time strategy MMO that runs around the clock.
My happy place is the seam between a clean backend and a delightful frontend: a well-modeled API on one side, an interface that feels effortless on the other. I write TypeScript first, lean on strong types, and obsess over the parts of an app most people never consciously notice.
When I'm not building client work, I'm building Vexara - a one-person galaxy that taught me more about systems, scale, and shipping than any job description could.
Four years owning features from database schema to polished UI. Comfortable across the whole request lifecycle - and happiest when no part of it is a black box to me.
I reach for clear boundaries, typed contracts, and code that the next person (often future-me) can read at a glance. Clever is cheap; maintainable is the whole game.
WebSocket-driven, server-authoritative systems are home turf - most visibly in Vexara, where a live galaxy ticks 24/7 for real players.
Motion with intent, states that respond, and the small details that make software feel hand-crafted rather than assembled. The kind of polish you feel before you notice it.
Vexara is a persistent, browser-based 4X strategy MMO set in a sci-fi galaxy. Players build empires, conquer planets, and engage in real-time strategy warfare across a living world that never resets and never stops.

Your nexus at a glance - resources, buildings, and live queues.
A single persistent galaxy, shared by real players, running 24/7. There are no resets and no pay-to-win - just your nexus, a three-resource economy, and the cold math of empire.
Under the hood it is a real-time simulation: travel times are real, resources tick continuously, and every raid, scout, and conquest is resolved server-side and replayed blow-by-blow. Built and shipped solo, end to end.
Small, inspectable apps built to show how I think across interface, API, data, and delivery.
A self-hosted shift planning app with calendar views, capacity warnings, time-off requests, and a REST API that keeps the UI honest.
A lightweight invoice and expense tracker with client balances, audit-friendly status changes, and monthly cashflow snapshots.
A pantry-style stock manager with reorder signals, supplier notes, and usage history for small teams that need simple visibility.
A full-stack toolkit, weighted toward TypeScript, modern frameworks, and the infrastructure to run them in production.
Professional product work, AWS-backed delivery, and a live MMO built across the full stack.
Designing, building, and operating a persistent 4X strategy MMO end to end - game logic, real-time backend, frontend, infra, and live ops.
Building polished React and Svelte interfaces, Node and Express APIs, and AWS-backed systems that stay fast, secure, and easy to maintain.
